The experienced teachers, many of whom are established performers, ensure professional attitudes and disciplines are maintained throughout training at Go For It.

TERI SCOBLE Principal/Manager

As a dancer and choreographer Teri's career has covered all aspects of the business from dancing in musicals to choreographing over 400 routines for television; and she has worked with and staged many major stars from the entertainment world.

Recent credits include playing Billie's mum in 'Morris 2274', Mrs Rankin in 'Harry & Cosh' both for Channel 5; and choreographing a Royal Gala before HRH Duke of Edinburgh at the Theatre Royal Windsor.

She is proud to be the first choreographer employed at the new Kingston Rose Theatre, being responsible for the staging of 150 community players in the production 'Don Juan in Kingston'.

Teri is an Equity Councillor representing Choreographers and a member of the Accreditation Board for CDET (Council for Dance Education and Training).

ALEXANDRA SPENCER-JONES Singing

As a Liverpudlian Cambridge graduate, ASJ is delighted to join the Go For It team as Head of Voice. Training with the National Youth Music Theatre of Great Britain and the Royal Philharmonic, she has taken roles in professional theatres from Edinburgh to Hamburg. Her credits as a performer include Whistle Down the Wind, Annie, National Preview Tour of West Side Story, The Threepenny Opera, Romeo and Juliet (European Tour) Songs for a New World and Bat Boy, The Musical. Working with the BBC, ASJ took the role of Alyson Skinner in the 1996 production of The Rich Deceiver and the leading role of Patsy Postlewaite in Tales from the Bog-End Road for radio. She has recently worked with the Kings Head production of Bernstein's lost musical Peter Pan and is currently a Theatre Co-ordinator for the Shakespeare Schools Festival. Formerly Head of Voice at Harold House and at YULA Summer Schools. Her aim is to bring passion for musical theatre to the students of Go For It.

DANIEL BYRNE Drama

Dan hails from the Royal Academy of Music, after previously holding the post of Head of Drama at Genesis Theatre School in Kettering. Graduating with honours from Warwick University, Dan has performed, directed, written and stage managed many productions, including Guys and Dolls, Death of a Salesman, Merrily we Roll Along and City Angels plus Kept and Fix at the Edinburgh Festival.

LORRAINE DOUGALL Dance

Our Scottish lass trained at the Laine Theatre Arts encompassing Jazz, Contemporary, Modern, Classical Ballet, Pas de Deux and Tap. As a performer she has performed in countless productions, which include Royal Galas, Pantomimes and Pop Videos.

It is every teacher's aim to inspire and bring out the best in all pupils, to focus on each one's individual abilities and, whilst keeping a very close eye on technique, make it stimulating and fun.

Video Assessments are taken which enable the students to see how they are progressing and appraise their performance.

Certificates are awarded termly and every pupil is provided with an end of year report.
